GIBA elected new Executive Council Members to lead the Association during its last Annual General Meeting held in Kumasi. The AGM brought an end to the service of former President, Cecil Thomas Sunkwa-Mills. with Abdulai Awudu being elected unopposed as President of the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA).

Mr. Awudu, joined the Multimedia Group Limited in 2008 to help launch its Multi TV arm and boasts of over 20 years of experience in media and content creation. He now steps into a key role representing independent broadcasters across Ghana.

Other Executive Council members elected unopposed are Samuel Yaw Asamoah, Muniru Ibrahim, Rauf Abdul Mahama, and Thomas Eshun.
